WAMS-AO is offering an opportunity to all incoming 7th and 8th grade girls to be evaluated for a roster position on the WAMS Softball Team. The team will meet a total of three days a week for a combination of practices and games. They will compete in the CJJSAA middle school league.
2024 Tryouts: Moved to March 14th & 15th from 4:00 to 5:30pm at Branchburg Sports Complex.
Students need to attend all tryout days. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and warm up.
- Athletes should not wear clothing with their name or any travel/club/team name.
- Team selection is based solely on talent displayed at the tryout.
- Grade level is not a factor.
- Only 7th and 8th graders may tryout.
- Parents and/or Spectators are not permitted at the try out.
- Parents are responsible for transporting their children to practices/games.
Every student that registers for tryouts MUST hand in either an Athletic Pre-Participation Physical and/or a Health History Update. Please check out our FORMS Tab and FAQs tab to learn more about which form you need to submit. Athletic Physical Forms must be submitted electronically via Genesis--go to the FORMS tab and complete the WAMS Athletic Registration Form and upload your documents. Forms are due by Feb. 21. It is strongly suggested that you submit it early in case it needs to be returned for outstanding info.

Tryout fee of $20 is non-refundable.
Participation Fee is approximately $325 for those making the team.
Registration opens Jan. 30th at 12 noon.
Registration Closes Feb. 21st at 11 pm.
