WAMS-AO extends an invitation to all incoming 7th and 8th grade girls to vie for a spot on the WAMS Fall Field Hockey Team. This opportunity entails three weekly sessions dedicated to a mix of practice sessions and competitive games within the CJJSAA middle school league. Attendance on all tryout days is mandatory. Please ensure arrival at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time to facilitate sign-in and warm-up. Participants are advised not to wear attire bearing their names or any affiliations with travel, club, or team identities. Selection for the team is solely based on demonstrated talent during the tryouts, disregarding grade levels. Parental or spectator presence during tryouts is not permitted.

Parents are responsible for arranging transportation for their children to practices and games.

Leading the team this fall is Carol Mastroianni, a former D1 Scholarship Athlete and Varsity Coach with over 25 years of coaching experience.

Tryouts are scheduled for September 6th, and September 9th, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at Mountain Park.

All submissions for the tryout are two part.  This include both registration (fee of $20 to tryout) on the website and the Athletic Pre-Participation Physicals and/or Health History Updates, must be completed by August 20th. No exceptions! Registration Process Details Failure to meet this deadline will result in ineligibility for tryouts and forfeiture of fees.

The team membership fee is approximately $300, with no refunds for tryout or participation fees once paid.
