WAMS-AO invites all incoming 7th and 8th grade girls to vie for a spot on the WAMS Girls Soccer Team. The team will convene three times a week for practices and games, competing in the CJJSAA middle school league. Tryouts are mandatory for all interested students and will be held TENTATIVELY on 9/5 & 9/8 from 2:45-4:15pm at Mountain Park. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and warm up, avoiding attire displaying personal or team affiliations. CJJSAA Girls Soccer League.

Attendance at tryouts is crucial, and parents/spectators are not permitted. Selection for the team is based solely on performance during tryouts, irrespective of grade level.
All submissions for the tryout are two part This include both registration (fee of $20 to tryout) on the AO website and the Athletic Pre-Participation Physicals and/or Health History Updates, must be completed by August 20th. Check out our FAQs for guidance on which forms you need, and download them from our Forms tab. All submissions must be made electronically through the parent portal on Genesis. No exceptions! Parents are responsible for transportation, and the approximate cost for team members is approximately $300 with no refunds. Registration opens on June 10th, 2024, at 12 noon and closes on August 20th. No late submission for tryouts will be accepted.
