Join the WAMS-AO Fall Cross Country Team!

Attention all incoming 7th, and 8th graders! Here's your chance to be part of our thrilling cross country team. Cross country racing takes you through open-air courses over natural terrain, offering an exhilarating experience like no other.

Our season runs from September through late October. During this time, the team will meet three times a week for a blend of practices and meets at Pleasant Valley Park. Transportation is the responsibility of the parents. 

Our comprehensive program covers everything from running technique to warm-ups, stretches, cooling down, and specialized training for the sport. You'll also have the opportunity to compete in the CJJSAA middle school league and invitational meets, with courses spanning approximately 1.5 to 2.0 miles.

Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot among the first 80 students. Please note that registration is a two-step process. If there is availability an email will go out about sign ups.  

Registration opens on June 10th and closes on August 20th. Don't miss out!

All submissions, This include both registration on the  AO website and the Athletic Pre-Participation Physicals and/or Health History Updates, must be completed by August 20th. The registration fee for cross country team members is $225, and please be aware that refunds will not be issued once you've registered.
