Track & Field Clinic

WAMS-AO is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for 6th-grade students to participate in the WAMS Track and Field Clinic! This engaging clinic will run from early September through October, with practices held twice a week from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at WAMS. Specific dates are to be determined.

Clinic Goals The aim of the clinic is to introduce student-athletes to various track and field disciplines while developing excellent running habits and skills.

Registration Requirements To participate, every athlete must submit an Athletic Pre-Participation Physical or a Health History Update. Please visit our FORMS Tab and FAQs tab to determine which form is required. All Athletic Physical Forms must be submitted electronically via Genesis. Navigate to the FORMS tab, complete the WAMS Athletic Registration Form, and upload your documents. Forms are due by August 20th. Early submission is recommended in case additional information is needed.

Registration: Opens on June at 20th at noon and closes once the roster is full. Registration is first-come, first-served, and limited to 40 student-athletes.
Dates: September 17,19,24,26 and October 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 and 22.

Waitlist:

Our waitlist operates on a first come, first served basis, and your spot is not guaranteed. To be confirmed on the waitlist, you must submit an athletic physical form as per the instructions on the FAQs page, with a deadline of August 20th. Without this submission, you will not be placed on the waitlist. When a program reaches full capacity, interested participants can join the waitlist and will be contacted via email if a spot becomes available, typically due to a cancellation. Being on the waitlist does not ensure immediate enrollment, but it does prioritize you for consideration if an opening arises.
