WAMS-AO is offering an opportunity to all incoming 7th and 8th grade boys to be a member of the basketball team.

WAMS-AO is excited to offer incoming 7th and 8th grade boys the opportunity to join our basketball teams for the 2023-24 season! Whether you're looking to hone your skills or compete at a higher level, we offer a dynamic basketball experience for all participants.

Season Details:

• Duration: Mid-November to Mid-February
• Practice/Games: 3 times per week
• League: Competing in the CJJSAA middle school league
• End-of-Season Tournament

For the 2025- 26 season, we are offering two teams:

1. A 7th & 8th grade combined team
2. A 7th-grade-only team
   Note: All teams will practice together.

Tryouts:

• Because of the size of the groups there will be two rounds of cuts. 
• Head Coach: Frank LoCascio
• 7th Grade Coach: Scott Miller
  

Important Tryout Information:

• Arrive at the gym dressed, with a labeled basketball and water bottle.
• Sign in, receive a number, and follow the coach's instructions.
• Do not wear clothing with your name or any travel/club/team logos.
• Team selection is based solely on talent displayed during tryouts.
• 6th graders are not eligible to try out.
• Parents and spectators are not allowed during tryouts.

Cost:

• The approximate cost for team members is $320, paid after tryouts.
• There are no refunds for the tryout fee or team costs.
