WAMS-AO Boys Lacrosse Team Tryouts
WAMS-AO invites all 7th and 8th-grade boys to try out for a roster position on the WAMS Boys Lacrosse Team. The season runs from mid-March through late May, with the team meeting three times per week for practices and games as part of the CJJSAA middle school league.
Tryout Details
**ALL GAMES are played at Mountain Park in Basking Ridge.
Important Information for Tryouts:
- Attendance on both tryout days is required.
- Evaluators will score participants based on a pre-established rubric.
- Athletes must wear neutral clothing with no identifying names or travel/club affiliations (excluding helmets)
- All participants must bring their own equipment.
- Parents are not permitted to observe tryouts.
Required Forms
To participate, students must submit either an Athletic Pre-Participation Physical or a Health History Update by the deadline.
- Complete the WAMS Athletic Registration Form under the FORMS tab in Genesis and upload the required documents.
- Early submission is strongly recommended to allow for corrections if needed.
Season Information
- Practices and games will primarily take place on rented turf fields.
- Approximate participation cost: $325.
- No refunds will be issued.
