WAMSAO 6th Grade Boys Basketball Clinic

WAMSAO is offering a basketball clinic for 6th-grade boys, designed for developing players. The clinic will be held on 5 dates in the WAMS gym.

This clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register early.

Important Registration Information

Cost: $100
No refunds will be issued.
Every student who registers for a clinic must submit an Athletic Pre-Participation Physical or Health History Update.
Forms are available for download in the FORMS tab.
All submissions must be made electronically through the parent portal on Genesis (under the Genesis FORMS tab).
Forms are due by the deadline—no exceptions. If forms are not received by this deadline, the student’s roster spot and clinic fee will be forfeited.

2025 Spring Basketball Clinic- 6th Grade Boys

The Spring Boys Basketball Clinic offers the developing player an opportunity to learn the game, skills and game play in a non-competitive environment. The clinic is a five session program for 6th graders only. (See schedule for specific dates/times)

Sessions take place in the WAMS gym.

Registration for WAMS Spring Sports will open on January 22nd on www.wamsao.com and on Genesis.

Here is some important information:

WAMS sports participation requires that you register on www.wamsao.com before you complete the required submission of form on Genesis. Information on program offerings can be found on the WAMSAO website.

YOU MUST COMPLETE REGISTRATION IN BOTH PLACES TO BE REGISTERED FOR A PROGRAM.

1. After you register on www.wamsao.com, complete the Genesis 2024-25 WAMS Spring Athletic Registration Form for your child. Your child must have had a physical examination on or after March 10, 2024 and the provider must complete the required NJ State athletic physical exam form. See attached.

2.If you already have a physical form on file, from an exam after March 10, 2024, you only need to upload a Health History Update Form.

3. If you recently had an exam and are submitting a new physical form, please only submit the new Medical Eligibility Form. (If the exam date was prior to December 10, 2024, you also need to submit the Health History Update Form)

4. Unified Sports registration can be done within the same Genesis form.(Question #2)

5. After review by the District Nursing Coordinator and our school physician, a message and green checkmark will appear on your child’s Genesis account to indicate that they are medically cleared to participate for the upcoming season. Please allow two weeks from submission. "Cleared for Spring Sports"

7. Registration and Forms are due by Feb. 20th to allow us time for review.
